Bushwick Open Studios returns! The 9th installment of Arts in Bushwick's annual weekend featuring open studios, exhibitions and performance. At press time there were over 500 online registered events. We worked over the very user friendly Arts in Bushwick website and compiled Norte Maar’s 2015 list of not to miss events, studios, artist curated exhibitions, alternative spaces and performances… or at least those that we don't wanna miss!!!! Bushwick, Brooklyn - Norte Maar is pleased to participate in the 2015 Arts in Bushwick annual Bushwick Open Studios and Arts Festival. A cultural phenomenon, BOS2015 takes place Friday, June 5 – Sunday, June 7, 2015 and includes over 500 individual studios, shows, and exhibitions involving thousands of artists. This free event invites visual artists, performers, musicians, designers, and the public to celebrate creative expression in one of the most vital arts districts in the world.

Bushwick Open Studios looks to be another huge year for arts in Bushwick! At press time there were 581 online registered events (down only slightly from last year's 598 registered users) filling a weekend with art and performance. We worked over the very user friendly Arts in Bushwick website and compiled Norte Maar's 2014 list of not to miss events, exhibitions, and studios... or at least those that we'll not miss!!!! Similar to last year, all events/exhibitions/studios are divided into six zones stretching the geographic lines which make up the creative neighborhood of Bushwick.

BOS2013 is the biggest one yet! There are 598 spaces registered and a map that stretches the geographic lines that make up the creative neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn. We spent our Memorial Day Weekend studying yet another year’s daunting event program and came up with a relatively short survey of events, exhibitions, and studios that should not be missed… or at least those that we’ll not miss!
NM announces call for site-specific dance project
Norte Maar announces an open call for classically trained female dancers to perform "Kingdom of the Shades" (entrance choreography only) from La Bayadere on the streets of Bushwick. Must have prior knowledge of this choreography.
