NM welcomes new board member: Robert Dimin!
Welcome Robert Dimin to Norte Maar's Board of Directors!
Bringing years of experience in the visual arts as a gallery director and partner at Denny Gallery and as an artist and sculptor, we welcome Robert Dimin to the Board of Directors!
The Board provides leadership in carrying out Norte Maar’s mission to to create, promote, and present collaborations among the visual, literary and performing arts, connecting emerging artistic communities and uniting cultural forces to foster artistic expression and raise the imaginative energy in us all.
Robert says:
Note Maar is a special organization that embodies the ethos of New York from years ago. This is a creative and collaborative spirit in which artists drive society through beauty and experimentation. This is designed to invoke thought through spectatorship without market concerns. In a way it is reductive to the essence of creativity. This is pure, this is playful, and this is needed as a balance to our current art paradigm. For these reasons I hope to be part of Norte Maar. I want to help share art with the world beyond my market focused day job. I want to work close with artists as they explore possibilities and I want to help share artistic collaboration across disciplines with the world.
