Announcing the Au Sable River Valley Studio Tour 2018
Norte Maar’s Au Sable River Valley Studio Tour returns for its fourth year, featuring artist studios and art spaces that feature a wide range of creative artists living and working in the townships of the Au Sable River Valley, including Keene Valley, Keene, Upper Jay, Jay, Wilmington and Au Sable Forks. The Au Sable River Valley Studio Tour was created to offer the public an opportunity to be invited into the working spaces of artists in the Au Sable River Valley and to have an authentic experience visiting these working artists. Studios and art spaces will be open to the public Saturday + Sunday, July 14 + 15 from 10am to 4pm.
An opening reception for the artists and the public will be held on Friday, July 13 from 6-9pm at the Jay House (35 Randy’s Lane, Jay, NY). This opening celebration will be held in conjunction with the opening of Norte Maar’s 5th Annual Jay Invitational of Clay that features a regional exhibition of ceramics and a weekend of programs and demonstrations in clay.

Founded by Scott and Byron Renderer in 2005, The Upper Jay Art Center is a place to enjoy music, theater, and visual art.
