About Free Art Days for Kids.

Our Free Art Days for Kids was originally designed and created in 2009 in association with Bushwick Impact, a family and neighborhood support organization, as an effort to improve conditions for children and families in challenging city neighborhoods, and brings hands on experience in making and creating, reading and writing. Free Art Days for Kids is a free  program that invites local professional artists, musicians, dancers, craft makers, architects, etc, to teach and explore books and the arts with the children and families in our neighborhood. Past participants have included Seth Caplan, Hermine Ford, Tamara Gonzales, Austin Thomas, and Audra Wolowiec, among others.

Free Art Days is a program supported by Norte Maar and sponsored in part by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc. (BAC).

Highlights from our Oct 15 Free Kids Art Days.
