Short previewed Norte Maar's first show of the year, Gʉilty / (NOT) Guilty, whose opening coincided with our annual New Years champagne brunch celebration. The show, curated by Sarah Schmerler, of 45 Projects, features works by Ellen Letcher, Francesco Masci, Alfred Steiner, and Pablo Tauler. Friends of Norte Maar joined us to take in the broad spectrum of media presented in Schmerler's show, as well as mimosas and an extensive brunch spread. "Guilty / (NOT) Guilty is an exceptionally strong art show featuring some of the neighborhood’s favorite artist," writes Bushwick Daily's Katarina Hybenova in her piece covering the successful opening celebration. Hybenova included images of the work and artists behind it, more of which can be found here.artist Ellen Letcher, image by Katarina Hybenova
