The 3rd Annual Fête de Danse presented by Norte Maar and Rouses Point Historical Society feature the return of Gleich Dances Contemporary Ballet/ London, performing a new ballet by choreographer Julia K. Gleich, and invited guests Burklyn Ballet Theatre/ VT, Racoco Productions/ NYC, Short School of Irish Dancing/ Montreal, and special appearance by Andrew J. Nemr and CPD Plus/ NYC.

The show will open with a musical performance by local singers Penny Treggett and Cathie Davenport.Now in its third year, this premiere ballet event in the North Country featuring local, regional, national and international choreographers and their dance companies is made possible in part by Friends of Norte Maar, Ruth and Ernest Reynolds Fund for New Ballet, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Cross Border Development Corp, Richard Foreman DMD, and the sponsorship through The Field/ NYC.


Fête de Danse is the premiere dance event in the North Country. This unique summer engagement brings regional, national + international dance companies to the rural Village of Rouses Point to perform their best repertory before audiences that gather from throughout the Northern Tier of New York State, Vermont, New England + Quebec.
