In its first appearance at an art fair, ever, Norte Maar presents “watching the conkers arrive,” curated by Jason Andrew, Kanad Chakrabarti and Sarah Pettitt featuring a collection of works by seven artists from the UK, Canada and Brooklyn, which interrogate language, geography, culture — all involving cross-disciplinary works with abstract grounding, leaving room for reflection on heritage and the borders of experience.”

London, UK - Kaleidoscope Arts Platform in London invites Norte Maar Co-Founder Julia K. Gleich to talk about choreographic success for women. Gleich, who founded her own dance company Gleich Dances in 1994 and is currently Head of Choreography at London Studio Centre and technique faculty at Trinity Laban, will talk about her experiences as a choreographer, teacher and producer of dance.

CounterPointe Shorts: London Edition - Meet the Choreographers

London, UK – Norte Maar's co-founder Julia Gleich, together with Briar Adams and the Conway Collective bring CounterPointe Shorts to London, England on Thursday 7 of May 2015 in London’s Conway Hall, Camden. CounterPointe Shorts will present works by series curator Julia K. Gleich (Gleich Dances), and Briar Adams (Hack Ballet) as well as new works by Sophie Adams and Aisling Cook (Ballet Ensemble London), Genevieve Grady, Deborah Kate Norris from Manchester and Elisabeth Schilling from Germany. There will be a post-performance discussion led by Antonia Franceschi who is well known for her master teaching, choreography and her career as a dancer with New York City Ballet and other companies, as well as her role in the movie "Fame."

Aegis Live Arts dancers perform on debut of Albion Baroque Orchestra, Greenwich, UK

October 26, 2012. Aegis Live Arts performed with Albion Baroque Orchestra in an evening of Musick in Britain: The Italian Heritage. Conductor and Director, Miguel Esteban, founder of Albion Baroque, invited Aegis to dance alongside the orchestra to Charles Avison's concerto grosso no.11 in G major. Dancers, Michelle Buckley, Chiara Favaretti and Fenella Kennedy, negotiated the aisles of the church in choreography by Julia K Gleich, and the concert was followed with dessert, Gingerbread from an Eighteenth Century recipe. In a review of the event, Prasanthi Matharu of the British Society for Eighteenth-Century Music, cheered this inaugural performance!
