Norte Maar is pleased to announce the organization’s first print edition commission by Audra Wolowiec. “sound series” includes four prints remastered from their original collage printed by Furthermore, Brooklyn, and published in an edition of 25 (four prints per edition).

All Hail the Beat Nite! This fall, Norte Maar teams up with the organizers of Greenpoint Gallery Night to present Beat Nite Greenpoint Friday, October 28! This marks the 15th Edition of the acclaimed bi-annual neighborhood-wide late night gallery hop which historically put Bushwick art scene on the map.

Norte Maar is pleased to return to 1285 Avenue of the Americas Gallery with a major exhibition titled Ways and Means: a new look at process and materials in art. Ways and Means will open with a reception on Monday, July 18 from 6-8pm, after which the show will continue through Friday, October 7.

Norte Maar is please to announce our thirteen’s poet/artist collaborative publication! Pin the Tail on the Tiger includes 12 poems by Bob “The Dean of the Scene” Holman and art by Jessica Weiss. This publication joins the list of limited edition publications by Norte Maar.
