__________
Join us for our once a month free children’s arts education program! Originally designed and created in 2009 in association with Bushwick Impact, a family and neighborhood support organization, as an effort to improve conditions for children and families in challenging city neighborhoods, Authors and Artists brings hands on experience in making and creating, reading and writing. Authors and Artists is a free monthly program that invites local professional artists, musicians, dancers, craft makers, architects, etc, to teach and explore books and the arts with the children and families in our neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Past participants have included Seth Caplan, Hermine Ford, Tamara Gonzales, Austin Thomas, and Audra Woloweic, among others.

Authors and Artists is presented in collaboration with the Bushwick Library and is sponsored in part by the Greater New York Arts Development Fund of the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs administered by the Brooklyn Arts Council, Inc. (BAC).
