On view is a glimpse of the exquisite publishing history of Melby featuring stunning prints by artists Tom Burckhardt, Joanne Greenbaum, Red Grooms, Paul Mogensen, Robert Moskowitz, Andrew Spence, Craig Taylor, and Nicola Tyson. Melby opened her etching studio in 1978 on the Bowery in New York City. In 1995 she relocated to her current address in downtown Brooklyn, near the Brooklyn Bridge, and in 1996, while continuing working with artists on commissioned projects, she began publishing through Jennifer Melby Editions.

Jennifer Melby has taught at Pratt Institute, Yale University, and the Lower East Side Printshop, and has led workshops at Brandeis, Cooper Union, Lehman College, RISD and Yale University.
